Praxinospcopes
The praxinoscope,
invented in 1877 by the Frenchman, Emile Reynaud is a precursor of the moving
pictures. Here a band of pictures, each slightly different from its neighbor,
is placed inside a rotating drum, quite similar to arrangement of pictures in
the zoetrope. In 1889 Reynaud developed the theatre an improved version capable of projecting images on the screen from a longer roll of pictures.This allowed him to show animated cartoon. a Magic mirror a sixteen-sided
Kinetoscope
The Kinetoscope is
an early motion picture exhibition device. The Kinetoscope was not a movie
projector but introduced the basic approach that would become the standard for
all cinematic projection before the advent of video.
